Iranzo: ''We'LL be eternally grateful to the teammates and the people of the town"
The player from Picanya talks on VCF Media Radio about his experience after the flash floodings that devastated the southern region of Valencia.
Toni Lato looked at Valencia CF's home defeat to Athletic Club in a post-match interview with VCF Media.
A difficult time
It's a tough night. It's frustrating for us. We deserved so much more. The team took a step forward, we started better than them and we had the chance to score points. In the end, we were punished for mistakes and we end up with zero points, and with the dressing room a little hurt.
An unfair result
For me, we were the better side. We are in a dynamic in which any mistake penalises us. The two mistakes we made were punished, and we have to learn from that. We had made it clear before kickoff. We knew it was the way they were going to hurt us. We had many shots on goal and the team were in the game. It's hard on us.
A key game against Getafe
It's time to be calm, as much as we can be. We have to prepare for the game against Getafe, which is going to be tough; it's going to be like a final. We all have to be united and work as best we can to prepare for this match in the best way, to go there looking for the three points.
